This rather unusual spot boasted an eighty-foot bar lined with beer mugs and cocktail glasses.  Each booth featured old-fashioned telephones that patrons could use to make free calls from booth to booth within the bar or to dial locally.  Ma Bell’s had phone-themed decor dialed in with poster-sized photographs of famous people posing with telephones in hand.  Each picture was accompanied by a humorous caption adding to the bar’s fun and friendly atmosphere.
